After a few seconds, two loss readings should appear on the screen, one for each of the wavelengths under test. The color of the test readings indicates the result. Green means pass. Red means fail. If troubleshooting steps fail, store the reading anyway, and return at a later time to resolve the problem. Blue is a false indicator of gain. If you see a blue reading, it is recommended to bring the units back together and re-set the reference before re-testing. Press SAVE to store the reading in memory. |
