6: Light Source Reference Cable

Cable #2: This is the light source reference cable. The “light source” end of the reference cable must be SC, and the other end of the light source reference cable must match the connector type in the link under test.

Keep in mind that if you are testing multimode fibers, the light source reference cable needs to be an encircled flux mode controller cable.
