All of the OTDR traces are now stored in memory. The OTDR fiber ring is no longer needed, and can be disconnected from the Fiber OWL 7+ and set aside.

At this point, it is time to perform the insertion loss measurement for fiber link certification.

Press the OPM soft key on the Fiber OWL 7+. Remember, you may need to press the enter key to reveal the OPM soft key.

Also, you might be asked to set the optical reference. Since the reference had been set earlier, it is up to you whether or not you want to set the reference again.
