Once the test is complete, check the position of the orange dotted line, which is the end-of-fiber marker. If this line is not where it should be, e.g. perhaps on an echo, then you can position the end-of-fiber marker manually by using the EOF soft key. To set the end-of-fiber marker, make sure only one cursor is selected, then simply move that cursor to the appropriate end-of-fiber position. Then press the EOF soft key twice. This will ensure that the fiber length used for the certification test is correct. |
