The light source was not needed for the OTDR portion of the test procedure, but for certification testing, the light source will come into play.

For best results, make sure that AUTO mode is active on the light source. If it is not, press and hold AUTO to activate AUTO mode.

Connect the power meter and light source test cables to the first fiber in the link under test, then press TEST on the Fiber OWL 7+ power meter.
