Once the testers have completed the test, the MASTER will show the test results.

PASS readings will be green, while FAIL readings will be red. Test readings with black dashes refer to the test direction not performed.

If the test readings are blue this indicates a negative loss condition, requiring the testers to be re-zeroed.

Do not disconnect the fibers at this time. Press SAVE twice on the MASTER unit to store the test results.

Then, BEFORE disconnecting, press TEST again to begin the process of testing the next pair. The numbers at the top of the screen will prompt the users which fiber pair to test next – in this case Fibers 3 and 4 – and the screens will again show diagrams about how to connect in to the link.
