There are two distinct advantages to two-fiber testing:

1) Much faster. The obvious advantage to testing two fibers at a time is that testing time is cut in half.

2) More convenient. The other major advantage of testing two fibers at a time over one-direction certifiers is that the length of the fiber link is measure with every test.
