The BOLT and VOLT Optical Length Testers from OWL offer a unique, economical alternative to users who need to measure the length of optical fibers. Rather than purchase expensive certification test sets, the BOLT can be added to an installer’s existing fiber test kit for a fraction of the cost.
NOTE: OWL optical length testers are not designed to measure distance to a fault like an OTDR. OWL optical length testers are designed to measure the end-to-end length of a fiber cable. A pair of terminated fibers, looped back at the far end of the cable, are required for end-to-end fiber cable length measurement.
